Printed with mixed eucalypt and kapuka leaves, this luxurious silk–wool scarf has been gently processed in a dye pot of eucalyptus leaves and bark, creating an earthy brown fringe effect at one end. The print has been layered to allow colours and shapes to bleed through multiple times, giving a dual-exposure, shadow-printed effect.
A hidden heart motif nestles among the leaves, connecting this piece to my Map to My Heart series — a reflection on relocation, rehoming, and intimate connections. Light, soft, and versatile, the scarf measures approximately 70 × 190cm and can be draped, wrapped, or worn as a shawl.
No inks or synthetics are used — all colours come from the plants themselves, revealed through a slow, mindful process. The silk–wool voile captures every leaf impression with fine detail and natural sheen, making this scarf both artwork and accessory — a singular piece carrying the quiet beauty of nature, layered meaning, and the subtle alchemy between fibre and leaf.

Each scarf is hand-printed with natural plant pigments, and I’ve done my best to show the colours accurately. Because of the subtle variations in leaves and fibres, the hues may appear slightly different in real life than on your screen.
