An elegant square of habutai silk, hand-printed with the natural pigments of mixed eucalyptus and kāpuka leaves. This piece carries no inks—its design is created purely from the colours released by the leaves themselves, captured through a slow, mindful process.
Each print is one-of-a-kind, echoing the delicate patterns and earthy tones gifted by the leaves. Crafted by artist Ceara Lile, this scarf can be worn knotted at the neck or styled as a headscarf. Light as air and soft against the skin, it’s both an artwork and an accessory—an intimate way to carry the imprint of nature with you. A timeless piece that celebrates natural beauty, seasonal variation, and the quiet alchemy between silk and leaf.
Fabric - 100% silk habutai
Dimensions - 55x55cm
Each scarf is hand-printed with natural plant pigments, and I’ve done my best to show the colours accurately. Because of the subtle variations in leaves and fibres, the hues may appear slightly different in real life than on your screen.
